Do you ever have paralyzing dreams where you can't move when you wake up for a minute or two?

Q&A Home   >  Community   >  WTK

I hardly ever have them but recently it has happened several times, I dreamed that my ex wi*e ki11ed me (sta88ed me to d3ath in bed) and my kids couldn't wake me up as I floated above the bed witnessing it happen. I seek your experiences here fore I already know my ex is crazy and would do such a thing, one of the many reasons I divorced her.

sleep paralyses. make sure you relax before you go to bed, it is possible to force yourself to bed but if your stressed/ overwhelmed theres a higher chance you'll experience this, also don't sleep on your back sleep on you side fetal position. I've had this happen a few times no fun

That has happened to me! Twice in one night, then never again. It was the most scared I've ever felt.

yeah, i had one last winter, where someone came into my room and leaned over my bed. it felt so real, that i struggled to wake up and turn on the light to confirm it was a dream. i knew who it was, it was someone from half way around the world who had only just contacted me from another ep account he had created a month before. some months later, i had a dream my bed was shaking (or maybe it really was an earth tremor? i never tried to find out) and it felt just as real, so i struggled to wake up and check the internet to see how this bloke was going. there was something wrong, but i can't remember what. so my extra-real paralysing dreams are linked to someone i have a strong connection with.
