yes I have a few familly memebers who I feel that way about. No matter how much you help them out, or try it is never good enough, and they pitch a fit about it. If you gave them a car they would complain it was the wrong color, too big, too small, too something. They don't want to do it themselves but want everyone else to provide it for them.

First off, friends don't put down friends, nor harm them or attempt to diminish their well being. Sounds more like you're dealing with a bitter person trying to spread their misery. I have no need, no interest and no patience with such parasites.
