    i find i need to use tons of big words in my college papers just to seem up to speed

    Don't fake it. Just try not to overuse the same words. Use a thesarus and dictionary and you will learn a larger vocabulary as you go along.

    yea i did on homework and essays in high school. when i start college in the spring ill use them there too. also on my resume. when im speaking to certain ppl like when im at a job interview too.
