It's like some people are after specific answers (that agree with their position), or even "phishing" for a fight. :/
I do that. ;)
Do you? A lot of people do it just looking for strokes and attention. I can't see you doing that.
Only when I get an idiot who was encouraging some young girl to cut herself by saying he as a sharp blade.
Its very rare but I will block him as only help those who are fair.
I did flag him so EP will read the message and delete it.
But if you have any questions or problems I do give advice.
And because I am older-I can promise you I have respect and never rude to anyone.
Yeah, I had that happened to me a couple of times. Most people are nice. Some people are very quick to be defensive. If you don't want criticism, don't ask the question. Some people ask questions just to ask and they are surprised when they get a real answer.
A male in his 50's saying he as a sharp blade to a girl who cuts herself is not the answer she needed.
So there are a few who give comments that they should not.
Yes,sometimes it seems the other person is determined to take umbrage no matter what you say to make amends.
It is like they are inferring that you must agree and sympathize with them and if you don't then you are some form of pond scum.........
No, uhh maybe yes.....I'm confident I'm not sure! ;-))
Um....sometimes we come across such people who make us to feel so.
Seriously, yikes! It is good practice for real like though :)
no.. i did what i wanted to do.. they did the same..
I really know what you mean.. but on counter-argument I would say -
that is it! people are so different.. They do care to help themselves, but their psychology is very different.. something else will hit them and make them realize what you were saying in simple words in the first place...
Only that your method of simplicity is not enough/right for them..
There is no reason to see them as closed-minded, cuz you're a helper and your thought fluidity and happiness, thus, really matters...
Not really, maybe when I see how it develops I wince, but que sera sera.
