Do you feed the birds,in your garden? It's very important,at this time of year!?

I feed my garden birds everyday to fatten them up so they can be a bit stronger to face the coming winter months. I hang the bird feeder very high up on the metal garden arbour. No cats can get up there. Not even the squirrels. I use a ladder and metal rods to hang the feeder up, but I've also fallen off the ladder many times lol

justMeeka	Posted Nov 4th, 2009 at 11:52AM yup. everyday.... I have several mountain bluebirds that will "knock" on my door with their beaks to ensure their daily peanuts! They then fly off and stuff the nuts in to my plants for winter! lol Rated: +2Vote for this!

r8r4	Posted Nov 4th, 2009 at 10:59AM I find it cruel to feed the birds. As soon as I throw out some bread and they get distracted, the b*stard cat next door goes after them. So it's actually better for them to starve. Rated: +1Vote for this!
