I don't leave any room in my life for bad luck. People tell me I am lucky, in reality I have just shaped things in my life in a way that accepts good fortune when it comes, and adapts ill fortune to some sort of benefit.

I never went without. After moving out of my house though, I have had to figure things out for myself. Live within my means and stretch the dollars that I earn as far as possible. Sometimes good fortune just happens, and that is great, but in reality the best way is to make it happen.

There is no such thing as luck. It's an excuse we use to not take responsibililty for the bad stuff that happens to us which I believe we cause 99% of in our lives.

I didn'T say 100% did I? If something horrific happens to us, something that was beyond our control, then how we deal with it afterwards is up to us.We either CHOOSE to let it have negative power in our lives or we CHOOSE to not let it. Of course there are things we can't always prevent. It's far from nonsense.
