I am deeply ashamed of my ingratitude toward my family and all the blessings they brought me. I am not proud, no; but I must say I acknowledge that my schooling, my family and my upbringing did me a lot of good and I am very grateful now.

Yes, I feel proud of myself. By age 25 I reached goals I planned to reach by 30. I became a manager with 6 reports, I earned a LOT more than the rest of my friends, whether of my age or older, I had experience of working abroad.
Now at 30 I'm still ahead of all of my friends, and still moving forward.
What is there not to be proud of? :)

I am only proud of the things I have accomplished that benefited me, and made my parents proud.

No. I usually refer to my family only to give examples of how people screw up their lives and those of others.
