Secure yes happy no. People become complacent after a period of time and they just get in that rut. Staying that way causes a stale relationship and that is probably true in 1 in 2 relationships. Most people stay together either for the kids or monetary reasons. Mine is the latter. Even though there is no spark anymore, we get along and I guess that helps maintain security, but as for being truly happy, sorry to say NO!

Beyond secure. Married 21 years and never a day goes by when I not told that I am beautiful, special and loved. I feel the same for him. We will meet in Heaven, I am sure. Soul mates!!
