Resolved Question

Do you find it effeminate when a man likes to cook/bake?

I am a man and I love to cook and bake. When I was younger I had to learn how to cook/bake so I could feed my siblings. Now, it's something I do recreationally and I really enjoy it. Plus, for the most part, women seem impressed...:o)

No. Women love a man who can cook and it makes you exceptional. Everybody loves home cooked food, and if you are good at baking that makes you a cut above the average.

No, it's not effeminate at all! It means you know how to take care of yourself like an adult. And any man who can fix a yummy dinner, with a homemade dessert (cheesecake!) for his sweetie gets major kudos.

Bake on, my friend!

Only if he's wearing lingerie and lipstick while doing it.

Oh my no! I think we have outlived the days where cooking is traditionally just a woman's role. I think it is one of the sexiest things a man can do with me. I love it when a man cooks for me, but especially with me. I also like it when he shares his "special" recipe and teaches me new kitchen tricks. If a man can cook me some really good Italian food we may not even make it through the meal with our clothes on. No I don't think it is effeminate. I think it is super sexy. MMMM!

Not at all. I dont actually do much baking, but I cook all of the meals my wife and I eat at home. There is nothing effeminate about it at all....and I think that people who think it is are morons.

Heck no!!!!! On the contrary!! I think it's a great thing when a man can cook and likes doing it as well. My son is taking classes in school because he loves to cook. He has made several dishes for the class already that he was very proud of! There's nothing wrong with a man knowing how to cook!!! Alot of chefs, cooks and bakers are men, cooking shouldn't be a gender thing!!!

Don't know if it makes me look sexy but when I cook for my wife and have dinner ready for when she gets off work or I take her lunch, she is very appreciative about it so she doesn't have to takes a load off her.

She like s the fact that I can cook and support myself.

There are so many guys out there who never learned or don't want to try, so if it wasn't for fast food they would starve.
