some people are misserable until they "find jesus". i find it odd, but respect it.

Oh, see...now you are changing up on us. From atheist to thinking of accepting Christ into your heart in under five minutes. How can we ever take you seriously now?

some people need an excuse everytime something happens, what is better than God or Jesus.
if it makes people feel better and gives them a purpose then god on them, i mean good on them

I think that people who believe in Jesus suffer emotionally a whole lot than you ever can imagine especially if they were in tough experiences and felt neglected, as their faith dances with the wind their thoughts fall with tears.
My answer is from a personal experience!

i find science a great comfort. i also admire people who can blindly believe in something. i was raised catholic and have people in my family who truly believe. as far as happier i don't think that's true (at least not with catholics)

People feel better when they find something to believe in. It most certainly doesn't have to be jesus.

I was raised Catholic. I think that theology is a amazing subject. Were you ever exposed to any kind of theology?

People are happier when they find something that gives meaning to their life along with a sense of support. "Finding Jesus" also means also finding a community, which is what can make people happier as well. For some, that could be Jesus but serioulsy not always! There are other ways to have a sense of support and meaning in one's life too...

No, I don't find it odd. Some people are only happy when other people are telling them what to do and what to think. If that wasn't the case, there would be no such thing as religion.
