    No. I consider it a honor to mingle with the folks here, and I do care about what people have to say and what they may be going through. It's not a mindless thing for me. I think about the people here and wish them all well.

    You don't really make friends here. Maybe a couple if you are lucky but people here are likely to disappear at the drop of a hat, or turn out to be fake. You can't take it seriously. You'll get hurt if you do.It's the cyber world and people can be anyone they want to be. I found that out the hard way. People lie on the internet.

    good point.
    That's a common process with "virtual" communication, there's not geophysical reality to ground it into something more productively permanent.

    Anonymity also hampers impressions, and it's not just on this kind of a site.

    Obsolescence has been around for many decades, it's now encompassed the human element as well.

    Technology will only absorb and replace humanity.
