She rarely did, except when I'd get home too late from work. When I would come in the front door downstairs, I could hear my cat calling to me from up in my flat; she would greet me at the door and chatter while I fixed dinner. If I was late, however, the "calling" would be screaming and the "chatter" would be fussing, while following me and batting me with her paw.

Yes! Omfg, if she gets out of the house and I have to get her she will his at me, my girl ain't allowed to hiss at me! So infuriating.

I love them both equally. I do love having to work for my cats love though. Its rewarding. Doggies are great too<3
