Do you have a favorite non-profit organization?

Opportunity Village is a not for profit group right here in Las Vegas, Nevada. It supports mentally challenged individuals who help repair and clean donated items, and then sells them in shops here and throughout neighboring cities. The pride they have in their work shows in their attitudes, smiles, and many hugs.

The "retired butchers fund" We break our backs getting the food to the table,with no reward in sight other than this noble fund. Otherwise you'll have to get your own meat,if we dissapear.So,Give generously.

we are planning for a dream to come true.. may be in future but still in dreams only .. its a hospital..

Dogs' Trust (in UK)

Our family is big on supporting our local hospice care. We lost my dad a year and a half ago to cancer so we love to give back to local family's.

I like the VOA, and of course, the salvation army.

I used to give to an order of missionary priests, for about 12 years. Then, money got really tight and now I only donate blood, which I have done all my adult life, as my form of charity. I also take care of 2 of my neighbors' gardens while they are up north for the summer (live in Florida). I also freecycle, which is giving away items I no longer want to people who need or want them. So, I feel I'm giving back to society. That's always been important to me, was raised that way.

When I win the lottery, a large chunk of my $$ will go to an organization that does corrective surgery for kids with craniofacial detects - face and head abnormalities.

I've always had a soft spot for "feed the cannibals" organization. The problem is, they soon disappeared. I have no idea where they went...

Cancer Research UK. Like you, I think finding a cure, or at least better treatments, is a priority.

The Somaly Mam Foundation, The Coalition Against Trafficking in Women (CATW), and any other organization that exists to fight sexual slavery, which is at an all-time high throughout the world right now.

Nope. Anyone who does good IS good in my book. :) I help out whoever I can if I am able to, whether it's a school club or the Humane society.

I donate monthly to cancer research as it's very close to my heart. I also donate to as many children's and animal charities as I can, but actually want to look at donating my time as well.
