    Did have, for 10 - 12 years.
Will always be very grateful to her.
Reached a point where I could be, am, my own therapist.

I have no use for them. If they had any Ability at all,the Divorce rate among them would be Lower. There children would be better adjusted. This is not the Case.If they can't ever Help the People They LOVE what could they Possibly do for others.
That's just My Opinion. Only You can help Yourself :)

Retired with two of my neurologists this year, they see the healthcare debacle coming and they went for a permanent cruse I guess.

When I was diagnosed with lupus 18 years ago the first thing they did was find me a psychologist who specializes in women with it. He's saved my sanity and my life more than once since lupus can be so painful and usually a death sentence, a lot of women get depressed/suicidal or have bipolar disease. He's not a big fan of medication unless you absolutely need it to control yourself so you don't wanna leave this world.

I've been lupus-free largely thanks to this guy for about 6 years, he and I still talk and have been good friends. He now lives in Anchorage so we Skype every week. I went up and visited him and his wife a couple of years ago.

Dear Grania, I am a psychotherapist ((Licensed Clinical Social Worker) and am so happy for you. It sounds like you found yourself an excellent psychologist. You seem to have a healthy relationship with him which has helped keep your affliction under control. Good for you! keep up the good work. I wish you the best. As for the other posts here, some of them have me laughing my head off. Humor is a good thing. Jane
