    I am pretty sincere but I am not at all lovely. So I suppose my heart of gold is fairly tarnished.

    I don't know about a heart of gold...but I believe people need love, understanding and forgiveness.

    I'm a human being with a light side and a dark side, but I acknowledge my dark side and let it play out without much participation and I prefer not to be co-dependent by carrying others too much (although I am known to be "generous" as a standard). I think everybody is capable of a some 24-karat behavior on occasion. I used to think it was important to be well-liked and yet have discovered some of the best people are "unique" and "unusual" to say the least. I am one of the latter. Being liked is not my priority in life. Being helpful is more my style.
