i'm totally off the grid ......there's no public utilities on my little island - - all solar & wind powered with a back up diesel generator that i never need to use.....
Batteries, generator, canned goods, candles, firewood, axe, extra pairs of clean underwear...
I could get by if I had to, but I am a little low on bottled water at the moment and with an electric pump to draw our well water, that could be trouble.
Candles, canned foods, snow shovel, blankets
I could survive for a week by using my gas cooker, yes. Its a simple one by design, that does not require mains electricity to operate
