Never understood depression until i had it. Never even knew I had it...till someone told me I did. Thought I was always a strong one...but..sometimes..despite the strength..it sneaks up on you. Curls around your heart and pulls u down. How do I cope...still trying to figure that out. However, I will say..using my amazing acting skills keeps others from knowing..most of the time.

Yep. I just wait it out, or if it lasts too long, I cut it out...if it lasts longer, I amuse myself...

Yes. Music helps me cope...listening to it, writing it, making it.

Always knowing that if I am still here than I should be thankful! I learned that being depressed (at least for me) was due to fear. I thrived off the feeling and wouldn't let go because I feared what would happen if I let go of it. Would I become numb again? Would I ever feel anything else? I feared that depressive feeling were the easiest to hold onto and thinking of letting it go in a blind leap of faith was just too scary. Once I realized I jumped. I now feel much lighter and better.
