Do you have to have a large net worth or money in the bank to open a franchise?

depends on the franchise. It it's McDonald's, you're probably looking at $1 million plus.. but I have also seen deals where you can use your 401k to invest in yourself without paying the tax penalty. It makes sense really. I mean why would you invest in the stock market? Give your money to bankers and investors like Madoff.. Bet on yourself. Go for it.

With Carl's Jr...>When the old man was alive...Well it took $100,000....just to get the franchise.....But then they took care of everything else....So I uess that you caould say that it just took $100,000....But now that he is not around anymore....Well no telling what the boys have up their sleaves.....
