Do you honestly think Obama deserved that Peace Prize?

If so, why? what exactly has he done in his short presidency to result in such an award?

No. He has not done anything yet. Maybe, if at the end of his term he has done extremely well, and made peace in the middle east, then he will deserve it, but not now. Seriously, no one thinks he deserved it.

"Maybe if we give the Prize to Obama, we will get some publicity and people will start to give a damn about who gets a Nobel Peace Prize." (Just a theory.)

We are paying the price for it now. That alone is worth a Nobel prize Obama has the courage to face the right wing rabid opposition, sailed through the negativity and the stupidity of the ignorant bigoted masses who have no opinion of their own but do not hesitate to spit out concepts they heard on right wing TV of radio (they might as well be blind and deaf) and he was willing to tackle monumental issues like health care reform in spite of attacks from the insurance industry propaganda. The man is a real statesman and he has guts Hell yes! he deserves it, one hundred times over he deserves it! Rated: +2Vote for this!
