Do you know about internet viruses?

My husband seems to have picked up a computer virus or something (I am not very computer literate when it comes to this stuff). He can log on to EP, but when he clicks on answer questions he gets a red screen from some radiohead or something like that, and he can go no further. He has done Norton virus scan and that did not fix the problem. any ideas??

coloco	Posted Sep 12th, 2009 at 9:58AM Unfortunately, he may have to reformat. I can't say specifically what type of virus he has, but your right, he has one. I have tracked them down and deleted them 1 file at a time but it requires a very good knowledge of the system and the files which are installed and what should be entered in your registry. Aside from that, for the normal folks, reformatting is probably your only hope. Unfortunately this is a prime example of a need for backups. Rated: +1Vote for this!
