Do you know any fun writing exercises?

This is one of those times where it's 2 in the morning and I should be asleep but instead I try to find something to do. And I reeeaaally wanna write a story or something but i can't come up with any ideas. So now I just wanna write something.

have you ever done "found poetry"? You take words and phrases from someone else's poem, or story, or even a news article, and make them into your own new poem, with a meaning completely independent of the original.

it is actually a great introduction to writing poetry for a lot of people - think of it like those poetry magnets for the fridge...

me:Hey Mike, I'm going to ask you a series
of questions and you have to answer either
'leave it', or 'take it'

Mike: Ok.

Me: You find $100,000 in a bag on the floor.
Do you leave it, or take it?

Mike: Leave it Me: Good answer, next one. Someone comes up to you and hands you the keys to a Ferrari and says 'It's yours', do you leave it or take it?

Mike: Mmm...Take it!

Me: Last question. There's a **** in your ***, do you leave it or take it?

Mike: LEAV- I mean Ta- ...**** you!
