I know my heart is hurting. I lost my precious Angel to her mean and conniving mother. I just can't seem to let go. :(

In my experience, the only salve to heartache is time. You've got to go through it to get to the other side.

yeah i agree with Lil Annie. it takes time.....and maybe if you change your lifestyle for better by eating more healthy foods and working out and feeling more confident then maybe you'll meet someone new who might be ten times better than your X then.....youll definitely get over ur past for sure!

First, you break up time into tiny manageable units. Not just days, not just hours, but minutes or even shorter.

Next, you refill each time frame with something positive so the hurting is pushed aside, or pushed away, for that brief instant. Keep the frames small, so that this is manageable and do it over, and over, and over, and over, and over ...

(It helps to have a friend next to you help push when you can't, or feel like giving up.)

Finally, time heals all wounds.

Dont fear the pain. Dont try to run away from it or replace the lost one. Accept it. Find ways to connect with the loss, and work through it. The only way you will ever get over it is to feel the pain - sadly.
Good news is that if you are willing to do that, it does get better. And then bad, occasionally, but eventually it will be gone.
And as you work it through, you will begin to see more clearly - why that one was lost - maybe it wasn't all that right, after all? Maybe there is something you can learn from it all. Maybe you can bring something beautiful from these experiences into your life.
