Death Valley is nice and quiet. Take an umbrella. And you have to like desert.
Omaha, Nebraska. It's really nothing more than an overgrown small town, but it's nice. Omaha is a good place to go when you really *do* want to get away from everything, but still have access to the city life. <br />
Oh, and Valentino's Pizza is to die for.

No, I do not. I don't know a lot of places in the U.S., but I do know that one of the greatest places to visit in the U.S. has to be Ausable Chasm. It is a popular destination; for a VERY GOOD reason. Google images of the place, and you will see what I mean.
