    I think I'd know a baking apple and a crab apple, but not really, they might have a sticker on

    I have over 30 apple trees on my land...six varieties...not sure what they all are, as they were planted when I bought this house. My favorites are macintosh.

    Yes, but the good old fashioned ones I like are hard to get hold of now - instead they give us plastic, tasteless things, so it doesn't really matter what their name is. That's why I don't like getting them from a supermarket.
