If I had to guess, I'd say Naga. It's a mythical woman who is part human, part snake.

Sometimes in geneology they change the spelling...I just found Naigon which is an area of India...Catherine could actually be a Catholic name from the British occupation...you have to be very creative and think outside the box when searching your ancestry. :-)Like (1)
