    I'm an outsider who wishes she were in the in-crowd; but they would have to change before I could 'fit in' with them.

    I have always been an outsider, why would I want to be with the so called "in crowd" they are generally weak minded people

    The in-crowd are the 'sheep' of society. The attraction to be in the in-crowd comes from the desire to be well adjusted, functional and appreciated within society, rather than being alone and on the fringes.
