I don't think I've ever had it, so I'd say I'm afraid of it. Three times in my life I've gotten to the end of more than a decade with somebody just to find out that they have no idea who I am. I really don't want this to happen again.

Whats to be afraid of, I've been going through emotional infancy all of my life - piece of cake!
Actually after a 40 year marriage that is ending in divorce, although I am wary of it, I dont think that I am afraid of emotional intimacy, but I need time to heal and to think, so I am not looking for intimacy on any level!
