Have to admit I prefer the arias myself. I find listening to the entire opera WAAAAY TOOOO LOOOONG.

One of the best operatic pieces I ever heard is from Lucia de Lammemoor. It's a vocal sextet. The versatility of the human voice is amazing. I think the voice is the most versatile "instrument" of all.

Anyway I enjoy opera. It is not my favorite type of music, but I do like listening to it when I'm in the mood. It takes more talent and technique to sing opera than any other type of music!
