If by "like" you mean, "love, and revere, and appreciate for both the strength of character he has shown and the promise of hope he shared with us all," then YES.

I feel that he is the anticrrist and that this is going to be the end of america as we know it, The country under his lieing regeam is going to fall to the liberals and the freedoms that founded the union are going to be removed.

    Absolutely not.

Clearly, there are a few naive posters about.

The man is an absolutely phoney and is not what he appears. Since 2008, the cracks are beginning to show and reveal the true nature of what he and his administration are all about. There has been a very good book called 'Culture of Corruption' written by Michelle Malkin, which I suggest everybody reads. The Obama saga and his administration is the biggest bunch of anti-democratic crooks, anti-patriotic tyrants and communist sympathisers that America has ever had to contend with.

He's not just a socialist, but a communist sympathiser and was virtually groomed by such, from a very early age, by family mentors and even radical organisations that host Bill ayers - the weatherground terrorist. This man has a sinister agenda for America, make no mistake.

And black people: WAKE UP. Why do you vote for him just because he's half black?? That is madness. Who would Martin Luther King vote for ? Think about it!

On a more personal level, 3 days ago I had a very disturbing dream about this man. This is before I knew that he had made a trip to Japan. I sensed him on a barren ground in South East Asia - namely Japan, a city starting with O, probably Osaka. There was an evil and ominous silence and he was wandering around surveying his surroundings. The man does want to see a 'post-america' type of destruction - that I have no doubt about. Open up your eyes. A socialist/communist sympathiser is not what America wants - whether you are black, white, or pink with purple polka dots.

I think a lot of people don't understand what socialism really is. I think he has some genuine good ideas that can make us a strong county again and make us a leader in the world in something other than strong arming other nations. I have watched for years as our manufacturing jobs that kept most of America employed get shipped overseas because greedy corporate americans set up plants overseas and shut the american ones down because of cheap labor and less oversight for pollutants and labor laws. Obama just can't wave a magic wand and poof all of those jobs suddenly come back. We have to find new markets. The housing industry crisis....long time in the making, he had nothing to do with that either and is trying to make pass laws so greedy banks can't toss people out on the street. What is wrong with having affordable health care for all? I could go on and on but it takes money to get things going, to make these changes and I swear some people are just fear mongering and acting like the govt is going to come knocking at your door coming to claim your paycheck. In fact, my taxes went lower in my income tax bracket, I certainly noticed that right away in my paycheck stubs, just as he promised. So hurry up health care reform! I am certainly tired of paying over $300 a month for company sponsored insurance that goes up each year (the insurance company cited that it went up to cover the prescription cost of other employees) I am healthy and have not gotten any prescriptions so I'm already paying other peoples health care...the insurance company is making all the money, then cutting sick people off.

I think that he doesnt have the necessary experience or knowledge to really know and properly run this or any country. Sure he has ideas, but so do many people.

    An ode to barrack obama

Greetings, salutations on this day of our time
Long time coming to pen this rhyme
Glued to your election a year or so ago
Shed tears, waited for change; none came

Then you appointed cronies from the past
To represent, carry your countries torch,
To Countries, far away lands, where your
    Country should’t be; understand?

Rahm Emanuel, your chief of staff
Bill Clinton, was **** scared of him
    Then there’s your treasury guy
A wall street banker in everyone’s eye

Then you promised to close gitmo
Within 18 months, don’t think so
    Its still open, torturing innocents
you can’t believe CIA security briefings

    where were all Saddam’s WMD’s?
    a crock of ****, don’t you see
    More excuses for another conquest
For oil and resources, a greedy mess

And their eye’s are now on Iran, and
will lie to ensure a future invasion
to secure black gold; anything goes
    WW3, a definite possibility

But Mr A in Iran; humanitarian
Is forging allies, wherever he can
To make it much more unlikely
That the world has to stomach WW3

And why should we? he is our brother
Like all in the Muslim lands
You should know, your family upbringing
Down to your middle name even

Is this why, you won’t stand again?
Bad stuff weighs too heavy on your heart
OK, you have done some good stuff
Healthcare reform for your people a must

But when you look at the small print
    More government control of lives
    And thousands of government departments
New, created to save a few lives

In reality, more blank cheques, to
The care companies that siphon off
    Billions from the public purse
    Instead of wholesale reform

Reports linking you to the elite
The bloodlines that rule the world
Just simply pour scorn on your office
And make you look like a thief

Stealing the goodwill of your people
And making lots of false promises
To get you to the oval Office
    Don’t think I’v understated it

So Mr Obama, just who you working for?
The elite, the bankers, more? Not
The people that put you in office
    They now know the score

    Your countries being raped, though
Your not the main culprit, accessory
Is a word that springs to mind
Aiding financial terrorists on Wall St

Don’t pick on Iran, not worth your time
Though would love to see it in some ways
Two million with arms in 24 hours
Should ensure your army dies by the thousand

But peace and love is the answer always
Deep down, you’re a good man, can feel it
    You can stop unnecessary suffering
Your army don’t deserve to die for nothing

Neither do our brothers in Iran, they
    Blatantly have done nothing, just
    Like Saddam, minding own business
But your security people don’t have a heart

And will try for excuses to invade
    Persia, for oil, and more
Please don’t make a mistake again
Live and let live, make tea not war

You got your problems anyway, as
25% of your bees just died: Think,
At that rate all of your people
    Will be dea

no. And why does everybody hate George Bush? Is there really a truly great president? They are all the same. Bush had alot on his hands during 911 and I bet if 911 didn't happen we would have had another republican in office. Does anybody remember when the world trade center was bombed before. Clinton was in office and he didn't do anything!!!

I think he is doing the best he can. He was dealt a really lousy hand. Bush , Clinton,Bush really F'd up the country and left Obama the mess to try and sort out. As Americans, it is our duty to respect the office. It is a thankless job. No matter what he does, someone is going to hate whatever he does. I actually feel sorry for him.

Like is a a subjective matter - some say yes some say no same goes in religion - not everyone believed or liked Jesus or GOD for that matter - so there you go..

On personal note, something that has been around too long and monotonous needs some radical changes no matter who the president is.

Yes but because the Party with Money and No Ideas hates him so very much, they will not stop until he is made to fail. He stays centrist, he reaches across the aisle, but instead, he is met with shrieking rhetoric. People who post negatively about him call him both 'fascist' and 'socialist' - sometimes in the same breath - and they are opposite concepts. People who freak out about his policies, 99% of the time, have never actually read, in a scholarly way, the issues and the pros and cons that are inherently there. If I see one more "tea party" protester, I'm going to lose my lunch.
