Do you like surfing?

Where is the best surfing beach you know of?

lol... I love it! My cousin is a former professional surfer born and raised in Hawaii and my family visited several times and the first time he taught me how to surf... I would NOT suggest the Bonzai Pipeline off of Ehukai as your first beach... still have the 'reef scars'... lol. My favorite beaches are 'The Backdoor' part of the Pipeline and just off of Waimea Bay in Hawaii. I'm not good enough to 'winter surf' there though... if the waves are above 15 feet I'll just watch thanks! :-)

I've tried California in several places, Florida, the Carolinas, Texas, and even New Jersey once (won't do it again) all in the USA. I've also tried off of Costa Rica, Mexico, and several places in the Caribbean. It's been many years since I've 'ripped the curl', but I've got my fingers crossed for next year as I think I've convinced my wife the flight to Hawaii is worth doing next year with our twins (I think... maybe... okay... who am I kidding... It's going to take some MAJOR convincing... lol)

I do, though I regret ive only gone once in my life!

Im actually deathly afraid of sharks though I do realize how rare shark attacks are. I definately would like to do it again someday! I went to Santa Cruz, CA.

i used to surf when i lived in Virginia... i went to a beach on a Military base though... and i dont think youre allowd there anymore without a pass.
