Some bodies of water are beautiful. Others a pretty dull. For me, city water and bottled water generally taste BLEH while well water is quite tasty, as long as you have a good water softner, filter etc. Too much iron will make water taste awful.

Funny you ask this today. I often think of how special water is. I was staring into my glass jar of ice water this afternoon thinking how I love the taste of cold water, how this basic necessity of life is both physically and metaphorically 'clear'.
Water is magnificent.
