Do you listen to classical music? If yes, who's your favorite composer?

Bach, some may point out that he's from the period before the classical period to which I would then pick Beethoven who comes just before the romantic period which mahler may be positioned within, which comes close to modernism which has Stravinsky, and of the recent stage of classical Philip Glass shines most brightly for me.

Yes, sometimes. I really like quite a mix of composers but I think the one that I listen to more often than the others is Wagner. The Ride of the Valkyries is a very impressive piece.

There's a near new age of this too; Trans Siberian Orchestra, Yanni, Secret Garden..

I wouldn't call it classical but it is the closest to classical that i get. I like the Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Tough call, since I have hundreds of pieces from dozens of composers that are all phenomenal.
Holst's Mars, Bringer of War from The Planets Suite is awe inspiring, and holds me.
Mozart's Requiem is memorized, from listening and performing.
Orff's Carmina Burana is essential to every film maker shooting a movie trailer.
Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini will bring you to tears with a loved one every time.
And I haven't even scratched the surface...Like (2)

Most Baroque stuff. Also Impressionistic composers. Also Stravinsky, Copland, too many to mention, I guess...

Prokofiev. I get chills when I hear those heavy horns and cellos.

I like a variety, but if I had to choose - Liszt overall.
I do love some particular pieces though - the 1812 Overture, the Ride of the Valkyries, the Dance of the Hours being a few examples that readily come to mind.Like (1)
