no... does one exist? -i can always imagine a reasonable threat in which to lock the doors.
Middle of nowhere yes:)
I live in a small town with under 2,000 people, I don't think I need to keep my doors locked.
I've never locked my doors. Day, night, vacation: doesn't matter. Not once has my house been broken into.
I even owned a home for three years while rehabbing it and always left the doors unlocked. All my tools were at the house. Some kids walked in one day to get a drink of water. They took nothing.
Americans live too much in fear of the boogey man.
No! And I live in a place where I can't see my car parked from my apartment and it's been vandalized TWICE this last year! I can't wait until my lease is up.
I live in a gated community.
I don't live in a neighborhood... I live in the woods.... But, I'm from L.A. so I lock them out of habit.
I would never do such a thing.
I feel safe here. I don't mind having the doors unlocked during the day when I'm home. But I always lock them at night. Doesn't matter where I live.
You probably shouldn't leave your doors unlocked whether you're in a secure neighborhood or not.
Yes. :) But don't expect me to post my address.
Comfortable in my neighborhood or not, why would I leave my doors unlocked?
