I live a few blocks away from the train tracks which go through our town. No, it doesn't get me down. It makes my heart jump for joy. I reminds me of going somewhere new and seeing others and new things. When my daugher lived in another state, I rode the AmTrac to visit her. Wonderful, rocking motion, clicking and clacking. The sound of the whistle thrilled my heart and does when I hear it in our town. Oh, the joy of being on the road.

I live close to one but I cannot hear it with the windows closed. The noise would never bother me, I like it.

I live near a rail line in the country. And I Love the sound of the trains coming through. Can hear them approach for miles off in the distance, vibrating through the ground.
They're a great comfort. (alot different than trains in the city)
