Many people would be insulted if you call them "animals".... The majority of "civilized" humans boldly separate themselves from the rest of the world.

Things are animal, vegetable or mineral. While some people may be intellectual vegetables or rocks, they still fit into the category of animal.

Animals have equal neediness and suffering. Of course there's thousands of people suffering, and are in immense pain, but animals suffer like that too.

Let me tell you a little something..

Animals are treated like sh!t and cooped up, even sent to slaughter just for roaming wild, like wild horses being sent to slaughter when they have every right to roam free and have just as much of a right to be here as humans, like other animals.

There's a load of people being massacred and abused, so don't think I'm just thinking of animals, but we're animals too, but we've created our own wold and society, and pushed other animals below our level and think of them as "not as important as us" and humans often trivialise other animals, when they're just as needy and sentient as us. They go through torture, abuse, pain, suffering and heartache. What's wrong with caring about animals and wanting to care for them? Don't mean you don't care about your fellow man. My family and I care about animals but we still donate money to human charities because we're not selfish and we treat humans and animals fairly.

People (like me) who love animals more than people, are NOT psychotic, sick freaks like many ignorant people say, but we're in fact very loving, compassionate, generous and simply unselfish. I know so many people who care more about animals than humans but still respect their fellow man and help them.
