Do you prefer things to be messy & out of control or perfect & in order (details inside)?

This could be for anything in life..

The very idea of democracy is both flawed & perfect. On one hand, everyone has a chance to express themselves. To speak their mind. On the other hand, such openness allows for all sorts of derangement & delusion. It's open to lots of false equivalency arguments & shouting matches that go nowhere. lol

There will never be a perfect union. There will never be a perfect anything. I think large parts of the human race enjoy's being combative. ;-)

Under the surface, it's just the simple joy of being able to freely express oneself. The very nature of expression is often messy & un-kept. But the eventuality of such expression can be quite eloquent & beautiful.

it cannot be too messy, nor too perfect either, both are extremes to me.

I don't mind either. You kind of have to tolerate both in life. I try to stay in control whenever I can though.

Self sustainability is often necessary to an individuals overall health. Especially when we work so hard taking care of others & trying to be as diplomatic as much as possible.

A change in the way we think which in turn affects the way we interact can go a long way to straighten things out a little. And that's only a start. No?

And from a solid foundation arises co-operation as we realize the countless flaws and consequences of competition and it's undesirable results.

The whole idea of government is flawed. There's no perfect government because looking to leaders to take care of everything is crap. Same with the idea of Countries. It's what we've got so we've got to work with it, but borders are bullshit.

Are we ultimately better off without leaders? Are we really better off when we're left to our own devices? Some say democracy nothing more than monarchy in disguise.

I think we ultimately will be, but it may take generations to achieve without massive and destructive upheaval, if it's even possible to avoid. Read "The Leaderless Revolution" for some ideas on how it can be achieved from where we're at -> http://amzn.to/PQwIlI

What does chaos mean to you? Is it the ultimate expression of freedom?
