Unless you're being described for an all points bulletin, why would it be appropriate to refer to a person by their colour ? On another point, If one is born in the country, why would they refer to themselves as anything other than a native of that country ? For example; born in the UK of African ancestry. Are they British or African British ?

I'm pretty sure when members of other races speak they don't refer to each other as "Hi white/pink skinned friend!"
