I don't bother much with my cell phone. I never text and just call for important matters. Family can text me if they want and that's perfect.

I text! I don't like talking unless I have to or am in the mood to chat

Texting. I have bad service and hearing. Plus, I like to write so I can see it, read it, edit it to say what I really mean.

Call. So I can say "u" without looking like a middle-schooler.

I know I might be in the minority here but I do not text. Neither does my husband. I tried it as EVERYONE I know and their dog texts... but it got on my nerves. Sometimes it does not go through. Or, the receiver misconstrues something you typed or what you meant in your text, (that's the worst). You are not in their presence to clear up what you meant so things just go downhill. I also hate that you have to type on a tiny little cell phone. My fingers never did that well and I know so many people do it with speed and perfection! They can keep it up, but I won't be on the other end. I hate it and so much prefer to talk on the phone. I even blocked texting from my phone, lol. I hate receiving them, too. It's like just call me!

texting, it is easier to pause what I'm doing in my typical day to look at a text than to answer a phone.

I prefer to be left alone. I keep a phone so my bf can text or call me, and in case of emergencies mostly.

Depends who I'm talking to. If its the boyfriend then most definitely a phone call but if its just friends then texts :)

Texting. I get nervous when talking on the phone to a chick so texting gives me a second to take it in and formulate a response without sounding like a mumbling idiot. I'm much more confident texting, so when I see them next I can still have that confidence and just let it roll from there.
