I know what you mean. I have a mirror over the sink in my bathroom, and a body length one on the wall in there as well. I always look thinner in the one over the sink. It can't be the lighting, because they are literally right beside each other. I don't get it. The body length mirror always makes me look more squat and wider than the one over the sink. It has to have something to do with the way they're made. It reminds me of fun house mirrors. lol
