Of course I do. I regreted it immediatly. It's been seven years and there is not a day that passes that I don't wish that I could go back and stop it. I was only eighteen and so scared. I had just moved out of my parents house, I was still in highschool, and my boyfriend and I were always on shakey ground. I could barley afford to take care of myself and I was terrified to bring a baby into this world, fatherless, and alone. I could of made it work. I just know I could of. I wish I would of tried.

Actually it was not until about 5 years after the event that I started regretting it. At the time all I felt was relief, my relationship was bad, finances were not great and I had two kids that were almost to Jr high. When I was driving by the grade school I realized that I would have had a child there and I started wondering and regretting at that point. I could have cut back and sacrificed and had the child but didn't want to start over again with the diapers and daycare and sleeplessness. I never told anyone about it, I made the appointment and never told the boyfriend, any of my best friends, anyone in my family. So at the time I felt relief, but now I do at times regret it, it is mixed for me

Yes. I regret not being able to have my baby. Being pregnant should have been the happiest time of my life: instead I wanted to die. It was the right decision at the time. And as long as women are penalised for pregnancy (jobs, school year, social censure, lack of support, humiliation, abandonment, etc.) then abortion has to remain a legal choice.

Very mixed feelings for me. I terminated my pregnancy at 24 weeks, my baby girl was in a lot of trouble and we knew that nothing could be done medically to improve her chances of survival following her birth. Most people, even anti abortionists, will absolve me of my guilt, but I lovemy baby, and I will always regret that I didn't try to carry her to full term. It may be the case that she was in a lot of pain, so if that was the case I am grateful she didn't have to suffer any more.
I believe that no woman ever makes the decision lightly, and if she chooses to end the pregnancy, it is because she does not want the child to suffer for the things she cannot provide, before, during and after the pregnancy.
I regret being in a situation where I had to make that choice. I do not believe that any human being has the right to tell a woman if abortion is right or wrong for her, the only other person who has the right to be involoved in her decision is the embryo/ foetus' father.

i've never had one n i don't have kids.. but i don't believe in abortions.. i don't put people down for getting them but it does make me mad that women do get them.. everybody knows all of the ways to prevent getting prego.. so why not use them so u won't end up getting in a situation ur not ready for? i just think that it's unfair to take a life away and abort when there are women out there who can't have children.

I don't, not once. If I had to go back I would do it again.

I did use birth control, the pill failed me.

yes i do regret it but in a way, i dont at the same time. i hate myself that i broke my own heart and the love of my life's (the father) heart as well. i was 16 and pregnant with twins after he'd already dumped me and still with two years of high school left...it breaks my heart every single day but i know im better off this way...it was the hardest choice i've ever had to make in my life
