No. I agree with you. Some don't deserve respect.Especially if they don't give respect. I don't "dis' respect until I know that. One thing that annoys me is that it's expected of us to show respect to someone simply because they have a title or some letters attached to their name or they are in the public eye, etc. I met Bill Clinton and called him Bill. I met a lot of Senators and other politicians at my last job and always called them by their first names. My boss was furious about it. Said it was disrespectful. Hey, they work for me! They should call me Ms. Oddandsingular!!!

I respect myself first...Then everyone else,..until i get the feeling they do not deserve it..Sometimes i respect strangers that look suss by simply not engaging.
