Do You Still Believe In President Obama?

I want to believe that he will get us out of this mess, even if we do get some cuts and bruises along the way. I hope you all still believe in him as well.

I believe I made the right choice when voting. I also believe that more could be done about the oil spill. Why can't our armed forces go and work the oil spill a few days a week theres enough to have people working around the clock to keep the mess from spreading. There is no reason the oil should be soaking into the ground.

President Obama is fine. We don't agree with all his decisions, not by a long shot!, but he is not a bad President and we hope he gets 4 more years. America has been in this mess since Reagan and one man cannot fixi it all. But just as Reagan set things in motion sending America down the drain, Obama can begin to put things back on the right track.

What an interesting coincidence as I was just thinking about this today. I think there is more than meets the eye and it depends completely on if you think he is being upfront with the people or if he really is merely all about power peddeling false hope. Only time will tell. I was just reading the awful version of reality in 1984 and it sure seems like it could be describing today when you read it- especially "the theory and practive of Oligarchical Collectivism"...but my imagination is probably just running away with me. Anyway, I think only time will tell what kind of president he really is but it doesn't look like he is for the oppressed so far (2nd day he lifted the ban on partial birth abortions I believe, and then his comment about the special olympians- not to make too much of it- but it would never occur to me to say anything demeaning about anyone for any reason). This was my two cents and that's all it's worth too so don't take it any more than that, lol.

Obama is not god; he is just a national leader like rulers in other countries. Let him do his job as a human being. And other people also do their duties as responsible citizens.
The world will enter the golden age not by any presidents, but by individual mature human beings.

Yula- I didn't even read all the responces before i had to stop and reply to yours.

    1. Its Presidant Obama
    2. Becuase someone doesn't like the President even there horse should be f@cked? Thats Kind of harsh seeing as all I've heard for the last 8 years and am still hearing about How much of a **** up President Bush was.

And I'm sorry nobody has bigger balls then bush, Think of the pair it took to invade a country against the protest of the WORLD.

And my answer to the question, Still believe no never really did believe in him, Seemed to be a creation of the media to me. But Hes got my hopes up that he isn't a total waste of space.
Edit I kinda hyjacked this question to rant, I appolgize.
I'm going to post a rather abrasive Blog similair to this give it a read its sure to **** at least half of you off :)

Yes so far so good! It's going to be a bumpy ride over the next few years but that is to be expected. He didn't get us into this mess that we are in and it won't get fixed over night. He was upfront about that which should be respected by Americans since everyone before him made themselves out to be David Copperfield and all the promises they made and could not keep. He is a realist and really a people's president. Reminds me of JFK! It's time for a change! It may not be perfect but I think at least it's a different approach then what we all saw with the whole Busch era!

Obama can ONLY get done what he can get congress to agree on.
So blaming HIM for what doesn't get done is bull S***.
I see he is doing the best he can.

President Obama has kept almost all his campaign promises, especially getting our troops out of Iraq. And then Perry says we ought to send them back? How much was he paid for that gaffe??!!

Thanks to Obama's FAKE "Hope and Change" act we are now suffering with the worst economy since the Great Depression. Obama is becoming one of the most anti-small business presidents in U.S. history. Obama failed to honor his 2008 campaign promise to end the diversion of federal small business contracts to corporate giants. instead directed most economic stimulus to large corporations that, according to the U.S. Census Bureau data and the Kauffman Foundation, most likely have not created one net new job in 30 years. People need to stop listening to what he says and start watching what he does!

I believe he had the chance to.
He has failed us terribly, and put our country at serious risk.
I think he is smart enough, but doesn't have the skills for the job.
Can't wait for "change we can believe in"
