No. I made the statement to a public that I was speaking to, that if the US invaded Iraq, it would be a matter of no more than a couple of years before Bush or Cheney would be indicted by the World Courts for war crimes. I was booed for that comment, but it looks like I may have been correct all along. It was about a grudge against Saddam and oil - nothing more.

no, I dont support the war, I wont lie and say I support the troops either, wars don't decide who's right or wrong, only who's left.

No .. it was the most ill-conceived military operation since the disaster in Somalia.
Anyone with even a modicum of exposure to the history of the area could and did predict the outcome.
We were led by power hungry fools.

The troops are our brothers and sisters.
That they support the mission is no surprise … else their comrades died for naught.
They have been killed and maimed in the name of our security.
LIES!
(And yes… where is the oil that was to pay for this folly)

The war is illegal and unnecessary. The worst part is the approach and overall strategy of the US army. If they've treat the Iraqi people as if it were Americans, then the situation would already be stable and all troops would be home. - But I'm no general, so who knows?

@tonyt53: the criminals will probably not be taken to the World Court (or the International Criminal Court in The Hague). The same criminals have made an American law that if the UN takes these guys to such a court, the US have to do everything to get them out. In the current situation that will lead to war with the Netherlands and probably all of Europe.

No; I think it's time to we get out of there and bring our troops home. I'm not sure if there is anything more we can really accomplish by being there. The new Iraqi government and the people of Iraq are ready for us to be gone. Let's not annoy the people we sought to help.

I read recently that Saddam wanted the world to believe that he had weapons of mass destruction so that Iran wouldn't mess with Iraq---guess the U.S. fell for it too. The past is the past, and now that we know what we know, it's time to withdraw. Iraq should be run by Iraq, and we need to keep our nose out of everyone else's business. Who are we, as the United States, to be in charge of others?

No! This war is illegal, immoral, and counterproductive. Sadly, this war will continue, and new wars will be started as long as war remains profitable.

Eliminate the corporate profits that war generates, and you will eliminate the wars.

Haha. I'm gonna be the odd ball out and say yes that I support the war and I support our troops. It saddens me to think of how many men and women are loosing their lives but it's not like we could pull out now without some kind of reaction either from Iraq or some other foreign country. and i think it was an ok idea. Maybe things could have been different but since we're already in it, i support it.
