I do despite the fact that my carrier doesn't allow it. There are ways to get around that, but I don't do it anymore than necessary. I'm usually on the road at the end of the month and need to print a couple of business expense receipts for tax purposes.
what are the ways? I'm guessing not streaming anything like youtube?
no mycell is old technology it only tethers via bluetooth, won't do wifi tether. My netbook has built-in bluetooth and can connect, but tablet can't as it is wifi only. My carrier (Cricket charges $10/month extra if you tether) so I did it once just to try it (with netbook). Stayed connected for about 5 minutes. then when I tried with desktop, they detected me, so I shut it down and haven't tried since.
No the cost here is horrendous
New Zealand, and it dosent matter which provider you use, theyre all similar price
