I think its a huge difference and I would certainly take it very very slow and not rush into anything real serious. If it's true love, then you don't need to rush.

I have to say if my daughter dated a man who was 40 and she was 20, I would be a bit skeptical and very cautious.

I fell in love at 22 with someone 20 years older, and now, all these years later, he's my best friend. So it can turn out all right, but not necessarily the way you want it to in the beginning.
