Do you think Barack Obama should win the election?

I do not think so . I mean I give it to the man he has a way with words but words are blown in the wind. Action speaks louder then words.

Definitely. He will bring well needed hope to this country. I just had a nightmare last night which scared me half to death. It was that John McCain had won the presidency. It will be SO much more than a nightmare if he wins & Barack loses. This country NEEDS Barack in order for us to have any kind of future whatsoever. McCain will bring nothing but another 4-8 yrs of violence, bloodshed, poor economy, & hatred from other countries, not to mention countless other things. Without Barack, we're pretty much doomed as far as I see it.

Heck no....he was picked by his voting record as number one liberal in Washington....do you think he may go back to tax and spend platform after he gets elected...you think! We need less government, not just some slick politician making campaign promises. We need real change not someone collecting our change...by the way...Hillary was 16th on the list.... National Health Care...who do you really think will pay that bill....you think mayby us....

I do , I have never voted, because I always felt that they would not do anything once the got in office. And after what Bush did these last 8yrs, it was awful all the innocent, people who died and our troops and thier families, the loved ones they lost, for a war we did not need to have, for some reason I think it was a vendetta on Bushes part. McCain been a part of the Bush crew for plenty of years, him and Palin love the Bush way, so what makes you think they are going to change anything. Plus Mrs. Pain is a very hard core and nasty lady, I am truly sorry for her infant, but why didnt she support these children before. So yes I definetly think we need a change, can Obama do it I hope so, but I would rather want him instead of them. So this is my first year to vote.

Not NO....But HELL NO... Iwant my President to be proud to be an Ameerican...I want to be able to keep my Guns...and when we leave the war behind us...It is because We have Won it...Nit just because my President wants to be a World Leader...and not an Americam Leader...I mean...he has stated that leadinf the world is more important and listening to the UN is more important than the U.S.A. Go get him McCain

It's time for the democrats to step in again. Every time we let the country get this far out of shape it means it's time to throw a democrat in there. I'm not going to say things will be fixed in a day, but I do believe 4 years from now if Obama gets elected things will be safe enough for me to bring children in to this world. And if he was to be re-elected, or another democrat elected, another 4 more years and things could quite possibly be considered perfect :D

Yes. I think he is the lesser of two evils, but very much so.

No. The last thing we need is to be pulled out of this war. If we are, we will be bombed again, causing us to lose more innocent lives. And the soldier's work will have been for nothing. I've heard way too many people call Obama the anti-christ. His minister stands at the front of the church and says "God damn, America". I think McCain is not the best candidate that the republican party could have chosen, however he is by far the lesser of the two evils.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO..... maybe you didn't hear me NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

As for "four more years of war", what kind of "plan" does he have to end it? End it in a way so that we are not back there in 5 years? Nothing? You don' t know? It's because he doesn't have a f***ing plan. Just like Kerry didn't have a plan.

yes, definitely. I was originally for Hillary, but I DO NOT want McCain in office. We need to get out of this war that we never should have been in in the first place, and Obama's the only one of these candidates that's going to do that.

HELL YES! Most definitely. I dont want a president that doesnt know how many houses he has, that cant define "honor" when asked by the new york times. He is a puppet all the way. All he is is someone, anyone the republicans can put up there to keep there little charade about caring about the people up but really just continuing their selfish and greedy need to keep all the wealth in their pockets and everyone they consider less then them under their heals. If Obama was white talking about change and talking about making a difference everyone would think he is the second coming of Christ. Everyone would be riding his band wagon as the new young fresh face of change and betterment like we felt with Kennedy and all the other young candidates. All of you so called anti-Obama people please stop being scared of a black man in office. You work and live with black people everyday has anyone tried to rob you or kill you yet. stop being so ignorant!

Yes. I think he is the best out of the two. Let's face it-we HAVE to pick one of them. I wish that he would make himself a little clearer on the issues, but I think that he is the best overall pick. He is looking out for the MAJORITY of Americans-not just the rich ones. Every time I see Mccain or Bush, I feel as though they are only looking out for the elite. That's not fair seeing as though majority of Americans make under $90,000 a year (BEFORE TAXES!!) Let's get someone in office who can help us get to college and get our KIDS to college so they can have a better life in this great country. We also need better healthcare. Why should we have to choose between feeding our families and providing them healthcare? That's INSANE. A country like the USA should take care of its citizens better than that.

Yes, he has a chance at winning...but that doesn't mean he should. Terrorist don't give a rat's as- about his great speeches. What's he going to do? Invite them for a nice chat and coffee?

4 years ago I respected McCain. Now he is a sell out to those he thinks can get him elected. 4 more years of McCain will be 4 more years of the people behind Bush getting their way again.
I really don't expect either candidate to fulfill their campaign promises; the President doesn't have THAT much power. When I look to the Republicans, I see fear mongering and arrogance.
So YES, I do think Barack should win the election. He is NOT going to break the country with wild-eyed social programs. Even if he wanted to, it wouldn't pass Congress...So everyone, step away from your TVs and radios, stop listening to the drumbeat of fear, suspicion and hate. Stop and look around for a minute. Does it really make sense? Go back to disliking Obama if you want, but at least do it for own reasons, not because some blow-hard tells you to.
