As an American, you have the right to say whatever you like within the parameters of the 1st amendment. Don't blame shadow-figures for curtailing your free speech.

There is a difference between telling thing like they are and being misinformed, misleading, willfully ignorant and blissfully petty and cruel.

He's got large support because of idiots who think like him.

Best Answer

Why are they necessarily idiots? There are many reasons why people may or may not support him.

Best Answer

Whatever reason they have to support him, they should still recognize that he's anti-science, offensive, and racist, as well as overly emotional and instinctive, and that those aren't really good qualities for a leaders. Maybe they just feel that there isn't a better choice, but well, I'm not really know of any candidate worse than him.

Simple. He talks a lot against Moslems but has a lot of Business agreements with them in Middle East. In a nutshell you can call him a hypocrite. Do you really need him as a leader who falls when money comes to him? And it would be ironic to call USA a political country against racism had it elect Donald Trump.

Best Answer

He does talk about banning Muslims from entering the country. This applies to foreigners only. He is scapegoating an entire population and playing on fears of radical Islam. As far as politics goes, he is becoming a good politician. Hypocrisy? America does not acknowledge such things. We proclaim without putting forth the effort of defending our convictions. I.E. You cannot fight a war on terrorism while lining the pockets of the Saudis, Qataris and Turks who are fundamental in expanding Islamist militant groups throughout the Middle East.

I think the phrase "destroying the capacity " is a bit of hyperbole. If someone refuses to debate unless they can be blatantly racist or something, then they're not exactly helping to foster debate either.

Best Answer

When the word racism is thrown to stop debate because an individual does not want to be uncomfortable by reality, that is not a debate.
