Great question...I'm such a softie for dogs....I would say "yes"...let them run free and frolick at an off leash dog park for hours!

good answer, and I would include "a good run" under my definition of standard care.

My ESA is actually a cat, but he likes to go off and hide under Mom's clothes sometimes, and we call those his "breaks", which is how the question came up. But I LOVE your passion for animals. :)

Nope, they just need your emotional support as well....along with normal animals things like walks and the ability to roam somewhat

NOT SO MUCH A BREAK AS LITTLE ENRICHMENTS.

Yes they do. I know by the time a seeing eye dog is 8, they are retired.

honestly, no, they don't. Other than standard care, they will be fine.

I'm not sure. I think animals think of us as their world because they easily love. I think if they need a break from us, they might get depressed. I have a mixed lab that is VERY needy for affection.

Then you should get one. But I will warn you there are different guidelines for every state on ESAs. They are different from "service animals" as they are not covered under the ADA, which really sucks, as that is a recent change
