yes BUT!

1. its too late
2. it CANT be done on an indivdual baises. This whole 'you alone can affect change' for this subject is pure utter bullsh*t.
3. the change would require VERY morally uncomfortable choices such as population control

WHY ?

Doesn't everything evolve?

IS evolution moving away from humans, perhaps to evolve a new life form that lives in sewage sludge and breaths carbon dioxide and methane - iof so that is a plan that is well on track.

I agree though, we have to work to save the planet. BUT as others have said we cant do it alone. It is useless the politicians in one country imposing expensive controls (UK) to introduce a minimum level of green energy (wind), and then other countries (China and India for example ) ignoring it and blasting out pollutants in ever increasing quantities.

Maybe we should stop invading countries with politics we dont like and start invading countries that are destroying the planet!

Yes the damage has been done, but does that mean that we should continue to blatantly continue damaging & polluting without care? Mo. I think that even if a bunch of us cleaned up out actions and maybe picked up garbage or took mass transportation it would start to change the way others may look at things. It is never too late to do what we can.

We are supposed to be good stewards of the planet and all that is on it. Filling our environment with polution, cutting down the forests, and wiping out the plant and animal species if not being a good steward. Organic farming, sustainable /urban farming, and cleaning up the planet and learning to eat more fruits and vegetables and much less meat is better management. There will never be a utopia until the second coming of Christ, but we can take care of what we have.
