    Why not? Its a confidence thing. If it works and others give you the confidence building looks, thats good.

    I've worn a kilt in England to go clubbing and that went down a treat. Took a bit of nerve. Wore it in the hostel for weeks and got used to forgetting I had it on- and no-one bothered. Even the very first time; it rarely raised an eyebrow which really helped my confidence.
